Polypropylene has excellent resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents & electrolytic attack, it has a relatively low impact strength, but it’s working temperatures and tensile strength are far superior to that of Polyethylene. The material is very lightweight and semi rigid, ideal for the transfer of liquids or gases. Very good resistance to acids and alkalines, but is attacked by chlorinated solvents. Working temperature: -20°C to +90°C.

We make a diverse range of tubes from this material – it will not break with a sharp edge, but instead crease or buckle, making it a safe material for use in some children’s toys.
